Yeti #001 - Road out of Town (GC87KJ3) )
Welcome to the Yeti Trail around London Colney, this is 50 stage cache trail that can be done in parts over a number of days or as a loop trail all in one go. The trail will take you around the Village of London Colney set in the English countryside of Hertfordshire, located south of the once Roman city St Albans. There are a number of convenient free car parks around the village where you can pick up and leave the trail.
I have started the trail at the most Northwest part of the village, parking is available all day for free at N 51° 43.525' W 0° 18.487'. The trail when done in order will wind itself down the west side of the village around the grounds of the old Asylum before heading back across into the centre of the village. It will then continue to move southwards to the Colney lakes and turn eastwards to take you along the bottom corridor of the village, before bring you out at the village green located opposite the village pub beside the River Colne.
