Geocache Description:

This is NO.47 in a series of caches.  Some will be at a sporting venue others may not.

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the

Australian Football League during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission

from 1942 to 1045 due to World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1989 Brownlow Medal was won by Paul Couch from the Geelong [Cats] Football Team.

He had 22 votes.

The cache maybe difficult to get if there are any sporting events are being held.

The cache is a small screw top container painted black. It has a logbook and a couple small swaps.

Please BYO pen.

Please watch out for muggles everywhere.

Keep the eyes open for snakes and spiders PS Go Grandys muggled us while placing this cache so they claim a FTF.

Have fun.
