[RO] În casa Barbu Gănescu a locuit Constantin Brâncuşi în perioada 1937-1938, iar în această perioadă a muncit la capodoperele care fac parte din Ansamblul Monumental "Calea Eroilor": Masa Tăcerii, Poarta Sărutului şi Coloana fără de Sfârşit. În timpul şederii sale, Brâncuşi ar fi adus o serie de pietre cu forme diferite, în general de animale, dar a realizat şi cinci mese mici, realizate din suprapunerea unor pietre. Pietrele care formează ansamblul zoomorf ar fi fost aduse, conform cunoscătorilor artei brâncuşiene, de pe râul Blahniţa.
[EN] In the house Barbu Ganescu lived Constantin Brâncuşi between 1937-1938, and during this period he worked on the masterpieces that are part of the Monumental Ensemble "The Heroes Way": The Silence Table, The Kiss of the Kiss and The Endless Column. During his stay, Brâncuşi would have brought a series of stones with different shapes, generally animals, but also made five small tables, made of the overlapping of stones. The stones that make up the zoomorf ensemble would have been brought, according to Brâncuşi's artisans, on the Blahniţa River.
