On the way to the cache you will see a monument of a sapper girl with a service dog going out for operation. It's no coincidence that this bronze sculpture is placed here: in this area during the war there was a nursery school for the service dogs, in which about 200 dogs were kept. On the basis of the school, there was a mixed military unit, where women were successfully serving along with men. During the war years, the "maiden team" - the miner-sapper battalion 34 - together with their faithful four-legged assistants saved thousands of lives of Red Army soldiers and residents of besieged Leningrad.
The cache is located about 50 m WNW from the monument, in the woods.
