The cache is located addjacent to the City of Charleston's "Leaf & Limb Drop-Off Site."
This cache replaces one that was muggled twice and was being attacked by ever larger mounds of mulch. Although some old signs indicate that the drop-off site is open for limited hours, in reality it is open 24/7. The facility is available to citizens of Charleston for leaf and limb disposal. Unfortunately, some people are unable to remove their leaves from plastic bags before droping them off for grinding while others have thrown trash in the area. The composted leaves, chipped wood, and small amounts of ground-up plastic are available at no cost.
Please use your best stealthy techniques during those times when there are many people in the area; e.g., during Fall and after a windstorm. Please do not park on the narrow road adjacent to the cache site.
