Welcome to the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission's 2019 Geocaching Adventure! This year, we have placed 10 geocaches in our properties throughout the county. Your mission is to find them, note the code words listed inside each cache and, once you have found all 10 caches, contact us via the Send Email option on Geocaching.com with your complete list of caches, related code words, and your mailing address! Those geocachers who complete the adventure will receive a special collectible. But wait! There's more! One of our geocaches is a challenge cache, a little more challenging than a traditional hide, so prepare to work! If you're gunning to be our FTF this year, the Challenge Cache is required (optional for all other cachers)! Now head outside and have a wonderful Adventure!
The Chelsea segment of the Border to Border Trail is now open to the public! Enjoy a hike, run, walk, or bike ride along this paved, non-motorized trail. This segment will eventually link up with the other Border to Border trail segments to create a 44-mile loop in the Chelsea-Dexter-Stockbridge-Pinckney area. Please note that, while dogs are allowed on the trail, they may not go OFF the trail to search for the geocache. Please replace the cache carefully once you've signed the log. Thanks!
