The road leading too this cache is probably one of the most scenic in the area. The Hoopdal road disects Marakele National Park with the Big Five area on one side and the smaller non big five section on the other. If you travel this road early morning or evening be sure too look out for members of the big five along the way. Entry onto this public road is via security controlled boomgates where your licence disc and drivers licence will be scanned on entry and exit. Enjoy the view while you are here.Take care when driving this road during the wet season as the surface can be very slippery, during winter it is usually a bumpy ride. An Suv or bakkie is reccomended.
