Summer solstice, the first day of summer, comes but once a year in this hemisphere and what better place for a meet and greet to celebrate the coming of summer than at Stonehenge itself? I concede, it's not exactly the original Stonehenge on the far side of the pond but this Stonehenge is much more accessible to Central Texas area cachers than the original.
We will gather at the posted coordinates, tell caching related tall tales, possibly swap a few trackables, and await the precise arrival of summer, 10:54 AM CDT.
Although the event will officially end at 11:00 CDT, feel free to stay as long as you like to explore the grounds and enjoy the pleasant hill country surroundings.
