Geocache Description:

The Archer Bros Pioneer Pathway is an initiative of the Jundah Progress Association, which is made of members of the Jundah Community in the Barcoo Shire Region. The Jundah Progress Association's members commit to the preservation of the regions history. The Archer Bros, Tom and Frederick, were one of the first early settlers to the District, droving up to 1,200 head of beef cattle from Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, to establish a breeding herd in Outback Queenslands' Channel Country, arriving in Jundah November 1872, in the company of John Conrick , Robert Bostock and possibly George Ware.
