Geocache Description:

The CABA-4 geocache begins at the Ice Cave Trail #608 trailhead. (N34 10.177 W109 58.319)

Directions to trailhead: From the lakeside Ranger Station, travel south on AZ 260. Turn left on Porter Mountain Road (Forest Road 45) for 1 mile. The trailhead is on the right.

The Ice Cave Trail winds it's way along Porter Creek and the South Side of Scott Reservoir before connecting to Blue Ridge Trail. Midway along the trail is the Ice Cave (Lava Tube). The cave is fenced off for protection and preservation.

The cache is an ammo container. It contains a small American flag, two patriotic buttons, a flash light, and a logbook. There is also a camera and camera log book in the cache. Please notify me when all the pictures are taken. ed.osborne@attbi.com

This is the forth of four caches scheduled to be placed this month by CABA (Central Arizona Backpackers Association) located in Tempe, Arizona. (A non-profit community hiking club.)

Have a nice hunt.
