I have been caching since 2001. Recently I was reflecting on those cachers that have had a significant part of my caching journey.
Rogerin71 cached with us for a few months last year. I have always been pretty much a handheld GPSr advocate. Phones, in my opinion, were unreliable and inaccurate. Rogerin71 is exclusively a phone cacher. I have to admit, he convinced me phones are far more accurate than I thought and there are times when using a phone is a big advantage. I'm still primarily using a handheld GPSr but have started using my phone more often.
Rogerin71 has also hidden a lot of caches in the area. His starship, I suppose, is his excellent TB hotel. (GC7CW4Z) It is one of the highest rated in the state and perhaps the country. He has also put a bunch of fun hides out in the desert (loaded with swag) and near this location there are several Canal Walks.
