Justification and Caching Satisfaction
I noticed that for the first time in a long time, there aren’t any actively scheduled Geocaching events in the Jacksonville area. People, this city contains the largest city landmass in the entire United States. We even have our own county! How could we let this happen?! I am taking it upon myself to remedy the situation. As this event is scheduled on a Monday evening, I am sure that after the first day in a work week, many folks are ready to up and leave their jobs with a two weeks’ resignation in hand. Coincidentally, the Geocaching guidelines require a minimum two weeks’ time between the date of submission by the CO and the event’s date. So here is my two weeks’ notice!
The Event’s Location
For anyone who is unfamiliar with the establishment, this is Poe’s Tavern. With their title indebted in honor of the Edgar Allan Poe, himself, this place also has a few pretty good burgers! For those of us who seek the finer indulgences in life, a fine selection of adult beverages are available. This event is family friendly if you so choose to have them in your party.
