This is a beautiful little cemetery along a very long drive/path. The path is scenic and worth the drive. Accessible by car to the cemetery entrance in dry weather. There are a couple turns along the drive/path and the grass can be tall. Look for the worn path.
From the Cumberland County Historical Society:
The Haggin Cemetery is located about 2 miles northwest of Bradbury, Cottonwood Township, Cumberland County, Illinois; Sec. 22 T10N R8E.
There are 59 known records. There is evidence of more burials here, without stones. There is a low stone wall around the cemetery, and it is in the woods.
While we did not see the stone wall around the cemetery, there is a small stone enclosure at one corner.
Note: The entrance is off of County Road 1050 N. There is a small white sign at the corner.
