Virtual Reward 2.0 - Cascais Railway Line

The Cascais Railway Line connects the municipalities of Lisbon, Oeiras and Cascais, in Portugal.
The line starts in Lisbon, at Cais do Sodré station and ends at Cascais station, near the center of the same village.
The first section, between Cascais and Pedrouços, was opened for operation in 1889, and the line was completed with the connection to Cais do Sodré, in 1895.
It was the first heavy railroad to be electrified in Portugal, in 1926, and the last to to be integrated into CP in 1977.
It is an important way of communication, having played a prominent role in the development of the coastline to Cascais, as it allowed quick access by the inhabitants of Lisbon.
