Fırtına Creek
'Fırtına' means 'Storm' in Turkish.
Formed by the combination of Elevit Stream, Palovit Stream, Hala Stream, Çat Stream, and many others coming from Kaçkar and Verçenik valleys on slopes of Kaçkar Mountains seeing over the Black Sea, Fırtına Creek pours into the Black Sea approximately 2 kilometers West of Ardeşen. With a length of 57 kilometers, Fırtına Creek has a suitable track for White water tourism (canoeing-rafting). Its flow rate is high and it is also a fast-flowing stream. That is why local and foreign people particularly choose this stream. The creek that is Passing through tea gardens and forested islands, has stone arch bridges that offer a restful scene with their appearance that are coherent with nature. Bringing life to Çamlıhemşin, Fırtına Creek features beautiful historic stone arch bridges along the river line. Some of these bridges are Şenyuva Bridge, Ortan Bridge, Mikron Bridge, Makrevis Bridge, Çat Bridge, Kale-Hala Bridge, Kadıköy (Örenkit) Bridge.
Sparrowhawk breeding is a sport that has become a tradition in the region. Since the sparrowhawk became the symbol of the region, a sparrowhawk statue was erected at the entrance of the Fırtına Valley.
To claim this Virtual Cache:
*Please post a picture of yourself (preferably a selfie) or something with your name on it, in front of the monument with your log. The photo must include the statue and you (or something with your name on it). The photo must be taken after the publication date of the listing. You don't need to show your face if you don't want to.
To log the cache, the coordinates must be visited and the log must contain photos from the listed coordinates as described above. Suspicious records that do not meet the requirements will be deleted.

Fırtına Deresi
Kaçkar Dağlarının Karadeniz’e bakan yamaçlarındaki Kaçkar ve Verçenik vadilerinden gelen Elevit ve Palovit derelerinin birleşimi ile oluşan Hala Deresi ve Çat deresi ile birçok derenin birleşmesi ile oluşan Fırtına deresi, Ardeşen’in yaklaşık 2 kilometre batısında Karadeniz’e dökülür. 57 kilometre uzunluğundaki Fırtına Deresi, akarsu turizmi (kano ve rafting) açısından elverişli bir parkura sahiptir. Fırtına deresi, debisi yüksek ve hızlı akan bir deredir. Bu nedenle yerli ve yabancı sporcular bu dereyi özellikle tercih etmektedirler. Çay bahçelerinin ve yer yer ağaçlık adaların arasından geçen derenin üzerindeki taş kemer köprüler doğayla uyumlu görüntüleriyle huzur verici bir manzara sunarlar. Çamlıhemşin’e hayat veren Fırtına deresi boyunca birbirinden güzel tarihi kemer köprüler bulunur. Bunlar; Şenyuva Köprüsü, Ortan Köprüsü, Mikron Köprüsü, Makrevis Köprüsü, Çat Köprüsü, Kale-Hala Köprüsü, Kadıköy (Örenkit) Köprüsüdür.
Atmaca yetiştiriciliği bölgede gelenek haline gelmiş bir spordur. Atmacanın bölgenin simgesi haline gelmiş olmasından dolayı Fırtına vadisi girişine bir atmaca heykeli dikilmiştir.
Kayıt yapabilmek için gereken şartlar:
*Kayıt günü çekilmiş bir fotoğrafınızı (tercihen selfie) veya üzerinde Geocaching kullanıcı adınızın yazdığı herhangibirşeyi fotoğrafını girdiğiniz kayda eklemeniz gerekmektedir. Bu fotoğraf heykeli ve sizi (veya kullanıcı adınızın üzerinde yazdığı şeyi) içermelidir. Kaydınıza eklediğiniz fotoğraf bu Geocache'nin yayınlandığı günden sonra çekilmelidir.
Kayıt için heykelin bulunduğu yer ziyaret edilmeli ve yukarıda yazılanların yapılması gerekmektedir. Şartları sağlamayan şüpheli kayıtlar silinecektir.
