Frank Curto Park was named after Frank S Curto who was the chief horticulturist for the Pittsburgh Department of Parks & Recreation. His career with the city's bureau P&R began in 1946 and ended in 1970 after being a foreman of the Phipps Convervatory.
The park contains a large yellow metal abstrat sculpture by John Henry.
There is a nice very view of the strip from this location.
