Now, envision New Mexico rivers so clear and clean you can drink directly from them. That’s what Amigos Bravos is working towards. It advocates for water conservation, monitors water quality, and builds coalitions, all while working closely with local communities and Native American tribes. As a member of the Rio Grande Water Fund, which protects forest and water for 1 million people, Amigos Bravos hopes to help ensure clean water for New Mexicans with every turn of the tap. LOR supports Amigos Bravos in their efforts to revitalize the Rio Fernando de Taos.
