....si racconta che dopo l'abbandono dei monaci, il piccolo monastero sulla cima del colle andò inesorabilmente sgretolandosi, tanto che una delle campane, rimasta senza sostegno cadde giù dal campanile. Una volta a terra, avrebbe iniziato la sua rocambolesca discesa, rotolando per tutta la collina, fino a fermarsi nel fondo della valle dove scorre il Radicagnoli. Qui la forza del fragoroso impatto contro le rocce, avrebbe aperto un profondo pozzo che subito si riempì con l'acqua del torrente. C'è chi dice che anche oggi, camminando nella vallata, si possono sentire dei cupi rintocchi di campana, sordi e lontani, provenienti dal fondo del pozzo.....
