Sadly, I had to archive Cache By the Creek. GC6YNHH. It was a glorious ammo can chocked full of goodies and even someone's TB when it appears to have been swept away. So I put another cache out, much closer to the paved trail, much easier to get to. It's not as big, but there is still room for tiny swag and TBs. And there is NO CHANCE of this one getting swept away by a flooded creek. Enjoy!
Congrats to Farmer Bill for FTF! He didn't find it soon after publication... He found it BEFORE it even got published! He had asked if I had checked on the missing Cache by the Creek, which I had, and I confirmed it was gone. I also mentioned that I had placed another one out in the sorta kinda same general vicinity -- well at least the same neighborhood -- but I hadn't submitted it to the reviewer yet. What possessed Farmer Bill to go out to look for it before the coords were published? And how on earth did he actually FIND the cache in a forest with ten million possible hiding locations? I'm still dumbfounded...and impressed!
