Another wonderfull beach side access to the ocean. This cache is a short hike from the parking lot, several ways to approach it, a little crawling in brush or scrambling up the bank may be required.
Easy parking and information is located at 44 22.999/124 05.340 when the state park is open. During winter hours, the park is closed and you will have to park beside the highway or at another close beach access.
You may approach this one from the beach, if you do it will require a little scramble up the hill. You could approach this one through the brush and grass, and that may also require a bit of scrambling or crawling. Now, that is part of the fun on the beach for me. However, if you don't want to do that, you can almost walk there via trail if you start east of the cache location near the highway.
The Cache is a good sized ammo box. It will require a bit of searching in the brush, please try to minimize damage to the native foilage when searching and restore the cache carefully.
