THE CACHE
This is the fifth of six superhero caches placed in Rolfs Park for the 2019 West Bend Cache Ba$h, with this one featuring BATMAN. You’re looking for a size regular cache just off the trail. A trail map is shown below to make it easier to get to all six caches.
DIRECTIONS
The parking lot is located at N 43° 24.325 W 088° 12.120. Total hiking distance for all six is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 miles round trip from the parking lot, depending on your route. The trailhead for entrance into the nature preserve is just past the end of the parking lot at N 43° 24.332 W 088° 12.157, heading north. Suggested route to find all six is to go in a counter-clockwise direction along the trail. (After finding Batman, you'll likely be heading south on the trail about 360 feet to get to the starting coordinates of the Thor geocache)
ROLFS PARK
Rolfs Park features two parks in one: a 10 acre fenced-in off leash dog park, and the 30 acre Rolfs Nature Preserve (dogs not allowed in the nature preserve). All of the caches here are located in the nature preserve, not in the dog park.
BATMAN
One of the most iconic fictional characters in the world, Batman is the ultimate crusader against injustice. In his secret identity he is Bruce Wayne, billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although he has no superhuman powers, he is one of the world's smartest men and one of its greatest crime fighters. His physical prowess and technical ingenuity make him an incredibly dangerous adversary. He's developed an arsenal of technology that would put most armies to shame. He is also a founding member of the Justice League, along with Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and others.
He has trained his body and mind to near physical perfection, proving that super powers are not needed to be a superhero. Dressed like a bat, Batman has dedicated his life to fighting against evil and striking terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere. He is vengeance. He is the night. He is Batman.
