Thorpe Green lies between Thorpe-le-Soken and Far Thorpe Green in the district Tendring on the Essex coast. Much of the area is agricultural land and this cache lies on a footpath which will take you through some of this fine countryside. If you were to continue on this footpath beyond this cache, you would eventually arrive at the church at Beaumont-cum-Moze.
It is easiest to approach this cache from the Thorpe Green end. There are a few opportunities to park a car on the side of the lane (Tendring Road). If you are after a longer walk, it should be possible to park in Thorpe-le-Soken and turn this into a circular walk.
The cache is approx 350m from the start of the footpath which runs for part of the way beside an equestrian centre and you may catch glimpses of the horses through the fence on the right-hand side. The path, for this first section has hedges and trees on either side.
Before the undergrowth opens out, the cache can be found without too much rooting around. Hopefully you do not have to leave empty-handed.
