This CITO will consist of cleaning up the area east of the King George Bridge to the wooded area next to Abbotswell Road.
This area has been hugely worked upon in recent years with a lot of planting having been done but it’s still a trap for litter.
We shall commence at the picnic bench at the given coordinates and this shall act as a working point where you can obtain more bags, collect and drop off litter pickers and ask any questions.
As a twist on the regular CITO, this year will have a competition for the most bizarre item found, the most bags collected and prizes for people who stay for the entire event as well.
There is also the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win a CITO coin or CITO charm with all profits going toward UK Mega funds. The raffle will be drawn in September and tickets are only available at my CITO events.
A full risk assessment and safety brief will be provided before we start and any late comers are required to check in with myself or another nominated official to ensure they are fully aware of what is expected of them.
