I would like to celebrate friends and friendships. Please bring a potluck item with you and we can have an awesome picnic amongst friends. There is a covered area with room for a good feast. The more the merrier.
Geocaching events are an awesome way for cachers to meet other cachers. We have a common interest right from the start and making friends is so easy. I've also made some lifelong friends. If you are new to geocaching, then this is an awesome way to meet fellow cachers. We can swap hints and stories.
I met jewilk1 and OmNom! at the cache in my front yard. They were visiting from Beaverton Oregon and had come to do my (and boomer365) geoart and stayed in Sooke. I feel very proud of the fact that this series brought people from out of this country to my home in Sooke. They're coming back for more and staying in Sooke again. They'll be here for only a few days so I thought this would be a great way for them to meet some local cachers.
**There is no pathway to the covered area and if you're in a wheelchair or need any help, there will be lots of us there to help.
