The Sterling Bridge is located on Dundas west and creates a boundary between little Portugal and Park Dale neighbourhoods.
Up the street used to be artist lofts and workspaces, and a wood shop I used to work at when I was young. This area is now being gentrified but you can still get a sense of the area being more commercial and geared towards blue collared working class families and trades workers.
If you smell chocolate it's because the Cadbury factory is located up the street and sometimes the smell of coco fills the air.
From the bridge you can look over the railway tracks and see nice Skylines of Toronto. To the south, Parkdale. To the north, the junction.
Also Toronto bike rail path is close by for anyone who is cycling north from this spot.
