Questa croce, eretta nel 1790 ed attribuita alla scuola di Antonio Tinelli, sta probabilmente a ricordare un evento importante per la comunità di Gaium.
Sul manufatto si notano scolpiti gli strumenti della passione di Cristo: i chiodi ed il martello, la scala, la veste, la corona di spine ed il gallo, simbolo del tradimento di Pietro.
Alla sua base la scritta “AERE INGENTIS NOSTRA SALVTIS OPUS 1790” ovvero “fatta col denaro per la nostra salvezza 1790”.

This cross, erected in 1790 and attributed to the school of Antonio Tinelli, probably recalls an important event for the Gaium community.
On the artifact we can see the instruments of the passion of Christ: the nails and the hammer, the stair, the robe, the crown of thorns and the rooster, symbol of Peter's betrayal.
At its base the inscription "AERE INGENTIS NOSTRA SALVTIS OPUS 1790" or "made with money for our salvation 1790".
