This month we are going to be doing something a little different seeing as its halfway through the year already and we can all use a bit of fun so come with your Geocaching know how, some friendly competition and get ready for, the Gold Coast North Geocaching Trivia Bonanza. ( Will probably come up with a different name for it, thats all I got for now, lol).
How this works is as follows, we will be split into 2 -4 groups depending on the turnout and a series of questions all Geocaching related will be asked. The team who gets the most right at the end will be declared our Geo Experts and we may even throw in a little something as well. More on the rules and how it will work will be revealed on the day.
Also as always we will update on upcoming events, tea and coffee will be available and if you would like to bring something to share with the group, feel free.
Gold Coast North Geocaching Group meetings are held at the Helensvale Library which is located on the Corner of Lindfield Road and Sir John Overall Drive Helensvale.
The meeting will be held in either Meeting Room 1 or 2, on the top floor of the Library and if you use the elevator on the ground floor across from the fooze ball table it will take you straight up to where you need to be.
For those who travel by public transport, the Helensvale Library is only around a 12 - 20 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk) from the Helensvale Train Station which is next to the Westfield Helensvale shops.
There are shops and caches nearby so if you want to hang out after the event, there are generally those who are eager to get out and about. We also have a Facebook group that you can join where we assist each other with all thing Geocaching related which is called, Gold Coast North Geocaching, feel free to join with us, we'd love to have you be a part of our group.
