The event will be held at:
The Ring of Bells,
Fore Street,
Bishopsteignton.
TQ14 9QP
After being closed for quite a while The Ring of Bells has now been bought by a local family who are in the process of updating it. At the moment the Kitchen is not open but they are hopeful that it will soon be functioning so that they can offer a proper menu. However if that hasn't been achieved they have said they will be prepared to offer jacket potatoes with various fillings for approx £5.00. and - although I'm not promising - there may be a chance of chips !! It will be a great help to them if you can mention it in your 'Will attend' log if you do wish to eat.
At the end of the month it will be 10 years since the original bishopflyer sadly went, as I like to put it, 'caching in the sky' and I had to decide whether or not to keep the name going and continue caching on my own. After encouragement from the Bristol Flyers who came down and helped me to understand the mysteries of my Garmin I decided to give it a go - and I'm so glad that I did as I've made some really good friends and visited some wonderful places during those 10 years.
And the other milestone ? Well I'll leave it to you to decide what that might be!!
Do come along to chat to others and hopefully discover or drop some trackables. Please don't land me with any of those large, unwanted ones though !
On street parking is available but you may have to be prepared for a short walk - but cachers are well used to taking a walk.
