The Rohais Inn started in 1911, and there is not much more details on it until 1953 and it was run by the Hawkins family, who after 4 years sold it to The Guernsey Brewery in 1957.
Soon after that it was run by the Batiste family who seemed to make the little pub a roaring success, with games and food and warm welcomes, but by 2005 Mandy Batiste the daughter of the landlord ,who by then after 21 years had taken over, decided to close it on the 23.06.2005 saying that there were several new factors which had pretty much ruined whatever trade there was, and was left with no option but to close.
