Another hide along the Huckleberry Rail Trail.
In the 1930s, this lake was surrounded by a gazebo, boathouse, bath house, a casino, skee-ball, and shooting gallery. The trail is the old Catskill and Tannersville (Huckleberry) Railway. This railway was a narrow 3 foot guage railway that ran only on the mountaintop from the Otis Summit near the former Mountain House to Tannersville.
