Questa cache vi porterà a scoprire una piccola cascata nel Bosco di Santa Luce, lungo il corso del torrente Tora.

This cache will let you discover a small waterfall in the Forest of Santa Luce, along the Tora creek.

Nelle estreme propaggini settentrionali del Bosco di Santa Luce, il torrente Tora, che segna il confine con il comune di Casciana Terme Lari, forma alcune piccole cascate, chiamate Cascate dell'Alloro. L'accesso più semplice è dalla strada per Monteforti, appena superato il ponte sul Botro della Torella un sentiero porta al torrente, dove si può ammirare la seconda cascata. Vi sono altre due cascate, una a valle, visibile dalla strada, e una a monte. Il luogo è molto ameno, immerso nel bosco, ed è frequentato dai locali.

La cache è un piccolo contenitore di tipo lock and lock nascosto a poca distanza dalla cascata. Contiene logbook ed è possibile scambiare piccoli oggetti, portatevi però da scrivere. Buona ricerca!

In the extreme northern reaches of the Bosco di Santa Luce, the Tora torrent, which marks the border with the municipality of Casciana Terme Lari, forms some small waterfalls, called Cascate dell'Alloro. The easiest access is from the road to Monteforti, after crossing the bridge over the Botro della Torella a path leads to the stream, where you can admire the second waterfall. There are two other waterfalls, one downstream, visible from the road, and one upstream. The place is very pleasant, immersed in the woods, and is frequented by the locals.

The cache is a small lock and lock type container hidden a short distance from the waterfall. It contains a logbook and it is possible to exchange small items, but bring something to write. Happy geocaching!
