Geocache Description:

Wherilearn

This is a Wherigo cache and if you haven't already got one you will need to install a free Wherigo player onto your smart phone or other device in order to play it, once you have installed the player you will then need to download and install the cartridge from the below link.....It sounds complicated, but seriously it isn't! Wherigo's are GPS location-aware interactive Games/tours that can be played on GPSr units, smartphones, tablets etc etc.

I've tested this Wherigo on my phone using 'WhereYouGo' and it all seemed fine. However, if you do experience any problems along the way please let me know and I'll try to fix them asap.

About this Wherigo

Lincoln Diocesan Training College was founded in 1862 as a teacher training institution for women. On it's centenary, in 1962 it became Bishop Grosseteste College, later a University College, awarding degrees in its own right. In 2012 it became a full University, still specialising in educational training but with a much wider range of studies available including business studies and sport.

As part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, this heritage walk was developed, to highlight the rich history of the University and its campus. The walk starts and finishes close to the main entrance/reception area and also near the Refectory. The cache is placed with the full permission of the University. If you are questioned by any student or member of staff just say exactly what you are doing!

The final container is securely locked with two padlocks. You will be given the combination codes as you complete the Wherigo. If you have any problems just contact me through the Message Centre.
