INTERNATIONAL GEOCACHING DAY!

The day when Geocachers all across the world get together to celebrate our hobby!

Groundspeak are awarding a Souvenir to each of us for either finding a cache or attending any event on this day.

Come and join us for a bit of friendly "geo-talk", or "whatever-you-want-to-talk-about" talk.

SATURDAY 17th AUGUST 2019

We will be here from 1.00pm until 4pm for anyone to come and go or stay as they please.

The Landlord is more than happy to have us again!  This is the third Internation Geocaching Day event we have had here (and we also had the Planetary Persuits here as well).

Children are most welcome, but obviously with an adult.

Dogs are also welcome, preferably (but not necessarily) in the Beer Garden.

Would be great to meet some new Cachers. New names are popping up on logs left, right and centre.

Bring any Trackables you have for others to discover or to be moved along.

Whilst no purchase is necessary to attend the event, obviously drinks are readily available, and food is also served (from noon until 6pm, if you wish to eat either before or after the event, or during if you so wish!).

We have put the terrain rating as 1.5 because there is a step at the front door, which wheelchairs can manage, but is a step nevertheless. The landlord will happily open the gates at the rear if the step is a problem for anyone.

1) There will be colouring available for any children who are there (and will try and think of something else as well!  No promises...)

2) There will be a draw for FTF which will be made at 4pm in case anyone comes at the last minute. All attendees will have their name in the draw regardless of whether they are still around by 4pm.
