At Christmas I was gifted some dinosaur cache containers. Looking at them I thought of the movie "Land before Time". Then I thought of the early days of caching in Southern Ontario. We have lost a few cachers that I knew and figured on making this series in their honour. Steve was a man that was quick to introduce himself to the 'new guy'. He was quite a joker and loved to sit and tell tales, swap puzzle ideas and listen to others tell stories and adventures. Othum pronounced Oh Thumb but I always pronounced it Awe Thumb because he was a totally othum guy. My visits with him were semi annually, we would meet at GHAGAFAP and a few times at my Dairy Daze Event. Really miss my GHAGAFAP breakfast with you.
