This cache is part of a rather scattergun 'series' of caches based around Thornthwaite Scout Camp and hidden for the benefit of both the Scouting and wider community of cachers.
Public footpaths run right through the camp and you can see for yourself what a wonderful location it is in - leafy, rocky, woody and with Darley Beck running through the bottom. In fact, the whole area known as Thornthwaite, full of a myriad of footpaths, is a great place to get away from the hussle and bustle of town life.
Take care as some of the footpaths run through fields with cows / bulls / cows with calves (depending on the time of year) but should all be accessible by an alternative route.
