Yes, its that time of year again, summer is almost over and autumn is almost upon us and time to think of Vogrie on Sunday the 6th October!
Time to catch up with friends old and new, whilst fitting in a few caches around the beautiful grounds of Vogrie. Some caches will be staying others will be going. We will be in the entrance to the main house again.
The minions are already hard at work thinking up ideas to amuse you!
We would be grateful if fellow cachers could also be on hand to help and guide any newbies who might want to give caching ago.
Do remember your £2.00 for parking! The parking fee is now a pay on exit at the barrier, rather than the token and barrier on entry as previously. At Vogrie there is a cafe where teas, coffees and light snacks are available to purchase. But of course cakes will be available. We can't promise good weather, and there may be quite a bit of mud involved in places, so bring suitable footwear. Cache hounds are welcome, although are not allowed to play in the playparks!
INFO There are 11.5 miles of signed footpaths passing through sweeping parkland, woodlands and the River Tyne Valley. There are also two playparks, one near the car parking and another further down.
