THE " BIG SLUMP " IS ONE OF MANY ALONG THE SOUTH SASKATCHEWAN . This cache was placed to fill in a gap along the trail that was closed for several years but has now been re-opened for public access . The cache is a micro close to the trail so it should be a quick easy find that allows you to leave tick free . Be aware of bike traffic on the trail , some at fairly high speed . Cache contains only a log so bring your own pen please . See photo's for clues and shortest route to cache .
For the information to visitors and those new to the area this side of the river is prone to earth slides . Its a product of the many springs that line the east bank . Every so often a large chunk of river bank will slump taking tree's , buildings or anything else with it. This was a smaller one but larger ones can be seen in the exhibition area of the city .
