One of a series of hides located on the old railroad right of way that follows along the very scenic St. Joe river. This cache is hidden on the main Route of the Hiawatha bike/hike/auto trail from Avery to Pearson. Auto access is possible via forest service roads from East Portal, Wallace or Avery, Idaho.
Enjoy driving thru the old railroad tunnels and crossing the two high trestles. They are narrow and only are wide enough for one vehicle at a time so take it slow while passing thru the curved tunnels.
