Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series that brings cachers to some random historical locations that are hidden amongst the urban sprawl that is the Greater Toronto area. Often, these historic buildings get surrounded by new developments, apartments and office towers - people forget they are even there. Then one day you are driving along and BANG you find a random historical building in the middle of 1960's apartments or post-war bungalows. Enjoy some of these hidden gems.

We found this house completely by accident when looking for a spot to do a U Turn several years ago. The main house was built around 1937 and updated in 1945 by W. Eric Phillips, a prominant Toronto businessman. It was evetually aquired by North York General Hospital and has been the site of cutting edge mental health services for women and youth for more than 5 years. Cache is hidden within view of the house in a typical fashion... but there are so many options! Tree? Lamp Post? Sign? Emjoy the hunt.
