The cache is the third in a series of three to mark the course of the little-known Laywell Brook. This watercourse starts as a spring in the grounds of Lupton House, and runs along the valley to the south of the main road into Brixham. Its route is then mostly visible from the old Tollhouse, along Beverley Rise, crossing Holwell, before it finally disappears underground at the site of an old reservoir at the bottom of Cudhill.
Continuing underground to Bolton Cross, this watercourse then joins the Eden River at the site of the old Naval reservoir, before emerging in the inner harbour at the Prince William statue.
This cache location is the site of an old reservoir. At this point the Laywell Brook finally disappears to the sea.
Happy caching! And thank you for your good logging etiquette.
BYOP. If you didn't sign the log, then you didn't find the cache. No spoilers. No exceptions. Allow others the pleasure of their own find. Many thanks!
Please do not interfere with any stonework. It's not necessary.
Congratulations to Angelaobscura FTF!
