This small lock and lock is located on the 2,950 m North Summit of Mount Aldridge. Expect a probably easy scramble up the NNW Ridge with a one-way distance of 3 km and an elevation gain of 700 m from Fording River Pass.
Mount Aldridge North Summit:
The north summit of Mount Aldridge is quite a prominent little point for being a mountain outlier. The best route up the mountain is likely via the NNW ridge which would probably be an easy scramble from Fording River Pass. If you make the effort to ascend this peak, I highly recommend you consider continuing on to the summit of Mount Aldridge to the south as it likely isn't that much more difficult than what you would have already needed to do to get to this point. Enjoy!
