Traditional cache placed on edge of private property prior to the Southern Traverse trailhead. You may see a giant black Newfoundland (dog) named Winnie, not to be confused with a black bear. She has an invisible fence, so she may come to say hi, but shouldn't bother you. If you would like to bring her treats, she will be your friend forever.
Plenty of parking. You can ignore the Private Property sign - as long as you can still touch it. Close to the road. No need to trample the bushes.
