Come on out to the WSGA's South Central Summer Picnic! This year we have selected the beautiful Howard Amon Park to have the South Central Chapter's summer picnic. This picnic event is open to everyone, WSGA members or not. Here are the specifics:
WHEN: SUNDAY AUGUST 11th, 2019 FROM 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
WHERE: HOWARD AMON PARK - RICHLAND, WA (LISTED COORDINATES) AT THE PICNIC SHELTER BETWEEN THE RESTROOMS AND BOAT LAUNCH
The WSGA will provide the protiens, plates, silverware, etc. as well as bottled water. We ask that you bring the sides and your favorite drink. Below is a list that will give you some ideas as to what to bring. We ask that you indicate in your will attend log or note, what food item you plan to bring to the potluck picnic and how many people in your party if they do not have their own account to log a will attend. This helps me know how much food to buy. Also consider bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit on as there may be limited seating at this event.
WSGA Members: Bring your current WSGA badge to the event, show it at the "Welcome Table" and receive a prize as a thank you for supporting the WSGA. If you're not a WSGA member, we encourage you to join WSGA's South Central region as your membership allows WSGA to sponsor events like this one. Sign up online or get more information at a WSGA event. PLEASE NOTE: you must have your 2019 WSGA badge with you or receipt of membership to be eligible.
Things to do - there is a play area nearby for the kidlets, the river if you feel like going for a swim and any other games you may want to bring and share.
