Creat în memoria ursoaicei Maya, Sanctuarul Libearty este astăzi căminul a peste 100 de urși bruni salvați din condiții mizere de trai, fiind maltratați în captivitate. Recunoscut de mulți specialiști ca fiind cel mai etic sanctuar din lume, teritoriul acestuia constă în 69 de hectare de păduri de conifere, situat în apropierea orașului Brașov.

Created in memory of Maya the bear, the Libearty Sanctuary is today the home of over 100 brown bears rescued from miserable living conditions, being mistreated in captivity. Recognized by many specialists as the most ethical sanctuary in the world, its territory consists of 69 hectares of coniferous forests, located near the city of Brașov.
