During this years camping trip, I realized that many of the caches I associated with Bear Lake are now gone. This includes several that used to be off the trail system that goes around the lake. I decided a cache would be fitting down at this end of the trail system, and maybe more will pop up as time goes on.
There is a significant beaver lodge visible from near GZ, and you can make friends with some of the mosquitos who inhabit this area. Or you may choose to wear bug spray - this area can be buggy.
