How to Catch a Woodbooger

Welcome to our 2019 Woodbooger Geo-Trail in Norton, VA. The trail consists of 27 caches; gadget,traditional,multi and mystery.
Most of the caches are "gadget" type caches, typically easy to find, but where the cacher will have to do "something" to access the log.
Each cache is different and may be more challenging than others.
The first 225 to Complete a passport will receive a custom trackable geocoin!".
Each site will have a code word to collect. Coins will not be mailed out.

Have you ever tried to catch a Woodbooger?
In the hills of Southwestern Virginia lives a wild and solitary creature. His story has been told for generations, but nobody has ever been able to prove the existence of the elusive Woodbooger.
However, we have discovered a Woodbooger trail. We discovered his giant footprints which gave us an idea. The world still does not believe in the existence of these awesome creatures, so why not catch one as evidence?
We have also discovered the perfect bait. Studies have shown that Woodboogers prefer this food more than any other. You will find this bait at the site.
Your mission if you choose to accept it is to follow the Woodbooger trail and determine if a Woodbooger has been caught. If so, please take many pictures as evidence. You may be the one that proves the existence of the Woodbooger!
Please feel free to take pictures at the site demonstrating how the Woodbooger might be caught.
It DOES NOT need to be taken apart, pried open or otherwise disassembled. Just have fun and replace things as found.
Please replace everything as found. Please do not take parts of the cache needed to make it work.
