Welcome to our 2019 Woodbooger Geo-Trail in Norton, VA. The trail consists of 27 caches; gadget,traditional,multi and mystery.
Most of the caches are "gadget" type caches, typically easy to find, but where the cacher will have to do "something" to access the log.
Each cache is different and may be more challenging than others.
The first 225 to Complete a passport will receive a custom trackable geocoin!".
Each site will have a code word to collect. Coins will not be mailed out.
Please refer to the passport for complete validation instructions.

Have you seen the Woodbooger?
Up near the Flag Rock Overlook is a statue of him, and many pictures of it have been taken over the years.
One of those is below. However, he has also been known to wander about the entire area so you might find photographic evidence of him elsewhere.
To find the location of that evidence, you need to “Shake it Like a Polaroid!”
Click on the photo below, and then shake to develop a new photo.
This will give you the coordinates where you will find evidence of the Woodbooger.
Please note:
• This will ONLY work on cell phones. Please do not attempt to pick up your home computer or laptop and shake it!
• If you are using an iPhone you may need to do the following: Go to Settings>Safari>Motion & Orientation Access.
• If you are using an Android and having difficulty, try a different web browser. Google Chrome works well.
• If you are caching with a GPSr, find a friend with a cell phone.
• Please read the instructions for accessing the log book that are provided with the cache container and treat it gently.
• Help yourself to some swag!
