Northern Michigan is an area of breathtaking beauty, abundant natural resources and rich history. We picked this location because it encompasses all three. This spot is ideal whether you are a fisherman, a kayaker or you just want to stop for a picnic and a bathroom break during a long day of geocaching. There are two parking areas as well as bathrooms, multiple areas for fishing, a boat launch and grassy areas to lay out a blanket and picnic lunch. There are also informative and historical markers so you can learn more about the location. Please Note: In the geocache aerial view picture it shows the bridge as being out and the road as under repair. Please do not let this deter you. As you can see from the photo I included, the bridge and road construction are now complete.
Every cache is different but they all have one thing in common, a log to sign. Therefore, every geocacher has one thing in common; they need something to sign those logs with. With this in mind, we stocked this cache with lots of pencils for trading so if you wish to trade please keep with that theme if possible
