Geocache Description:

Rainbow Series Green This series is to commemorate the Rainbow for its true meaning. All caches are roadside caches, with fun easy finds rather than a challenge being the focus. The country road is surprisingly busy and fast at times so always take great care and keep a good look out for cars, especially if you have kids or animals with you. Out of my office window, which is at the heart of this series, it is common to see a brilliant rainbow on a showery afternoon. The rainbow has come to mean all sorts of things in modern times, and every time I see a real one, I am reminded of its real meaning - Genesis 9 v11-16 where God says to Noah: And I establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood, and henceforth there shall be no flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the sign of the covenant that I set between me and you and every living soul that is with you, for everlasting generations: I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass when I bring clouds over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud, and I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every living soul of all flesh; and the waters shall not henceforth become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living soul of all flesh that is upon the earth. Collet the clues on each cache to find the silver lining in the clouds which is always there however dull the day. Each cache is the same except for the colour and most are around head height or above. All caches can be seen from ground level so if you are unable to actually sign the log a photo log is fine. I hope you enjoy the series, and that the weather stays fine while you do them. However if it does rain, look around for the rainbow and finish up with the silver lining! Probably the safest parking for this series is at A Fine Pair GC5TFQ2
