Why ? Traditional Cache

I've driven by this trail many times and wondered why there was no cache on it. Is it a bad muggle area? Maybe a pack of wolves or attack chipmunks live there? Low avalanche and flood rating so that can't be the reason. Maybe it's a secret Military zone (Canada's area 51?). Hopefully nobody overlooking the trail playing a banjo! Nothing left to do but hide this cache and see if it's actually a free zone.
